Mr. Ernest Orlando Ortega, 72, a life long resident of Albuquerque passed away on June 19th 2002. Mr. Ortega is survived by his loving children, Elena Garcia and husband, Mike, Ernest Ortega Jr., and his wife, Jesse, Joanne Zamora, Ricky Ortega and his wife, Loretta, Cindy Florez and her husband, Felix, Evelyn Dominguez and her husband, Richard, and Lourdes and her husband, Marty; siblings Mrs. Tere Martinez, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Ortega, Mr. and Mrs. Clemente Ortega, and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Gonzalez; 25 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wonderful and beautiful wife of 53 years, Mrs. Virginia Ortega. Rosary held Monday June 24, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at John XXIII, 4831 Tramway Ridge. Burial mass held Tuesday June 25, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. Father Arc, Celebrant. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Garcia, Richard Dominguez, Felix and Orlando Florez, and Marty and Andrew Martinez.
