Ruth R. Herrera, 68, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on June 25, 2002 peacefully at home in the arms of her loving family. Mrs. Herrera is survived by her son, Stan Pier and wife, Pamela; three grandchildren, Michelle Hernandez and husband, Antonio III, Michael Pieri and Nicole Pieri; one sister, Sally Chavez; and one great-grandson, Antonio Hernandez IV. She is preceded in death by her brother, Felipe Herrera. Mrs. Herrera was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation will be Friday evening after 6:30 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with a Memorial Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. by the Blue Army. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
