Isabel"Kitty" Granillo. After a brave and courageous battle with cancer, Kitty has taken God's hand and is now in heaven with her loved ones. She is survived by her husband, Leo; son, Luis and his wife, Kathy; son, Raymond; and grandchildren, Grace and Justin all of Albuquerque; mother, Elena Diaz of Las Cruces; brothers, David, Bobby, Manuel, Gilbert, Ruben and Danny, of Las Cruces; sisters, Virginia Maldonado (Dallas, Texas), and Irma Padilla (San Francisco, California); numerous nieces and nephews. Her father, Manuel Diaz; and sister, Elise Valenzuela, preceded her in death. A Memorial Service will be held at Tramway Community Church, 4800 Tramway Ridge Drive, NE, Albuquerque, NM on Monday, July 1, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. A second service will be held in Las Cruces at Church Triumphant, 2020 N. Valley Drive on Wednesday. Burial will be in Tortugas, NM following the memorial service in Las Cruces on Wednesday.
