Obituary for Mcnaney

Leo"Lee" F. McNaney died June 23, 2002, at the age of 63 after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by a brother, Robert McNaney and wife, Janet; daughter, Maureen McNaney and husband, Jeff Shapusas; son, Timothy McNaney and wife, Julia; grandson, Matthew McNaney; four nephews and two nieces; and special friend, Michele Lombard. Lee was born in River Forest, Illinois on November 8, 1938, and had been a resident of Albuquerque since 1976. Lee had a large family of friends at the Tennis Club of Albuquerque, of which he was a member for many years. A mass will be celebrated at The Newman Center, 1815 Las Lomas Road NE. on the UNM campus, on Monday, July 1, 2002, at 3:00 p.m. Parking is available on Yale Blvd. in the ROTC parking lot. A reception will follow at the Albuquerque Tennis Club. The family and friends of Lee want to express their gratitude to Laurel View Healthcare and Presbyterian Hospice.
