Obituary for Lang

Ernest Joseph, Lang Jr. was born June 7, 1922 and passed away just six days before his 80th birthday, on June 1, 2002. Ernie worked on the Manhattan Project during WWII as a chemist, and was involved in early radiation experimentation, and was accidentally burned with gamma radiation in the South Pacific. His cremains will be interred July 1, 3:00 p.m., at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Ernie is survived by his wife, Helen; son, David; daughters, Michele and Carolyn; and four grandchildren. During his later years, he did oral reading and recording for the blind. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
