Lisa Marie Driskell, age 36, of Placitas, died after a sudden illness on Thursday, June 27, 2002. Her father, David Driskell preceded her in death. She is survived by her partner, Stayce Driskell; and their 7-month-old daughter, Lilyan Grace; mother, Joan Farnum and stepfather, Gene of Santa Fe; sister, Juniper Stein and husband, Geoffrey of Tesuque; stepsister, Rebecca Hamilton and husband, Gregg of Albuquerque; stepbrother, Martin Farnum of Albuquerque; nephews, Wyatt Stein and Reese Hamilton; and niece, Naomi Williams. Her partner is supported during this time of grief by her parents, Dan and Camellia Vistica; and sisters, Danielle and Devin, all of Portland, Oregon. Lisa graduated from Los Alamos High School and the University of New Mexico. She was employed by the University of New Mexico as a Career Works Job Services Division Leader. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Unitarian Church in Albuquerque at the Southwest corner of Carlisle and Comanche NE. A reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a fund for Lilyan Driskell through any branch of the Bank of America.
