Clara Sanchez Torres, 61, loving mother, grandmother and sister, and lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, July 2, 2002. She is survived by her daughters, Roberta Gallegos and husband, Mark of Clarksville, TN and Bessie Torres; son, Dave Torres and fiancé, Monica, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Adam, Christopher, Dawn, Franchesca, Jeanette, Davie, Chrissy, Shannon and Clarissa; mother, Bessie Sanchez; brothers, Leo, Dennis, Arthur, Pete, Robert and Andy; and sisters, Della, Annie and Ruth. She was preceded in death by her father, Pedro Sanchez; and son, Chris Torres. Services will be held Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at the Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul NE. Entombment will follow the service.
