Obituary for Cano

Benjamin Cano Magallanes, 69, a resident of New Mexico passed away on July 3, 2002. Mr. Cano is the beloved husband of 41 years to Mrs. Lilia Cano. He is also survived by four daughters, Minnie Gomez and husband Alberto, Julieta Cano and Arturo Avita, Ortencia Rascon and Luis and Leticia Saez; four sons, Benjamin Cano and wife Socorro, Raul Ramon Cano and wife Elsa, Luis Cano and wife Nora, Alejandro Saez; six brothers, Ramon Cano, Raul Cano, Francisco Cano, Octavio Cano, Jesus Cano and Noe Cano; three sisters, Manuela Cano, Maria Cano and Margarita Cano; 30 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Benjamin was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation will be Friday evening after 5:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Margarita and Maria Cano. A final visitation will be Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 552 Atrisco SW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00am by Father Manuel Viera. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Raul R. Cano, Benjamin Cano, Luis Cano, Raul Cano, Noe Cani and Octavio Cano. Honorary pallbearers will be, Francisco Cano, Jesus Maria Cano and Jose Cano. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW in charge of the arrangements.
