Obituary for Park

David Edward Park, 79, died unexpectedly at his home in T or C, NM. David was born in Denver, CO, on November 27, 1922, to Eleanor and Dave Park and graduated from high school in Craig, CO. He was married to Anita Sanchez of Albuquerque. David owned several businesses in Albuquerque including Fairgrounds Body Shop, East Central Auto Wrecking, and General Salvage Super, a partnership with his son Edward. He was a member Full Gospel Businessmen's Association and the Auto Dismantlers Association of New Mexico. David and his wife retired in 1988 and moved to T or C where they built a log cabin. David enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sales hunting for bargains. He loved studying Scripture and prophecies and attending churches all over New Mexico. David was a dedicated Christian who was admired and respected by people of all faiths. David is survived by his brother, William Park of Spring, TX; and his sister, Frances Haussaman of Albuquerque; his son, Edward D. Park and wife, Deborah of Albuquerque; daughter Veronica Valencourt and husband Joel of Hibbing, MN; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held on Monday, July 15, 2002, at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Evangelical Free Church, 900 Southern Blvd., Rio Rancho, NM.
