Obituary for Barnhill

Kenneth S. Barnhill Jr., born August 2, 1928 in Mesilla Park, New Mexico. Son of Rega and Kenneth Barnhill, Kenneth spent his career as a mining engineer. He was active for many years in the Episcopal Church, serving for a period of time as the business manager of St. John's Cathedral. He helped start an Episcopal Mission in Los Lunas and was serving on the Episcopal Diocesan Council and the Camp Stoney Board. He was also serving on the Board of Directors for New Heart Inc. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patricia Boney Barnhill; daughter, Jane Barnhill Sanders and her husband, Clayton Sanders of Houston, Texas; daughter, Martha Barnhill Martin; and granddaughter, Maryjane Elizabeth Martin of Pocatello, Idaho. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to: Camp Stoney, 7855 Old Santa Fe Trail, Santa Fe, New Mexico, 87505; St. Matthews Episcopal Mission, P.O. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 15, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Cathedral, 318 Silver Ave SW. Sunrise Society is serving the family of Mr. Barnhill (891-8200)
