Obituary for Mansfield

Francis R. Mansfield, 78, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, July 18, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Grace W. Mansfield of Albuquerque; son, Robert B. Mansfield and wife, Corrine of Santa Fe; daughter, Susan Goodwin and husband, Michael of Rio Rancho; grandsons, Kim Mansfield and Thomas Goodwin; granddaughters, Elizabeth Mansfield, all of Albuquerque, Delfinia Medina, Kayla Roberta Francine Mansfield and Hilary Mansfield, all of Santa Fe; and a large extended family. Francis worked with the B.I.A. teaching at several area schools. She was a member of the American Legion and the VFW, and was an Elder of the Presbyterian Church. Services will be held Monday, 11:00 a.m., at Fellowship Christian Reform Church, 4800 Indian School NE, with Pastor John Dykhuis officiating. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert B. Mansfield, Kim Mansfield, Michael Goodwin and J.C. Badonie. Contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of NM, 216 Truman NE, 87108. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Sunday, 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
