Kenneth R. (Kenn) Hopkins, 23, a resident of New Mexico passed away on Saturday July 20, 2002 as a result of a car accident and is now in heaven with God. Kenn is the beloved son to Dennis and Lita Hopkins. Kenn is also survived by two sisters, Terese Abeyta and husband Anthony and Michelle Hopkins; two brothers, Louis Hopkins, Dewayne Hopkins and wife Christy; nieces and nephews, Louis Raymond Trujillo, Louis Mark Romero, Joshua Abeyta, Naomi Abeyta, Christina Hopkins and Nicolas Hopkins; two aunts, Evelyn Olguin and husband Reggie, Annabelle Ruben and husband Michael; two uncles, Arthur Quintana and wife Margaret, Ronald Hopkins and wife Linda; his grandmother, Genevieve Olguin (Grama-Gen), many cousins and friends. Kenn is preceded in death by his sister, Laureen J. (Laurie) Hopkins; grandparents, Carl and Florence Hopkins, Catarino and Theresa Quintana. Kenn was a member of San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church. A visitation for Kenn will be Tuesday evening after 6:30 p.m. at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church, 2002 Plaza NW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Bob Lewis. A final visitation will be Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at San Felipe Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Msgr. Leo Lucero. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Dominic Olguin, Jeremy Olguin, Ernie Jaramillo, Matt Erickson, Chris Gabaldon and Chaz Uecker. Honorary pallbearers will be, Joseph (Bert) Gabaldon, Aba Ortiz, Alma Gonzales, Danika Ortiz, Andres Lares, Ed Lares, Lizz Arredondo, Tyonna Sanchez, Laura Gallegos, Karina Lares, Mialma Gallegos and Nikki Orozco.
