Obituary for Kruger

Elizabeth"Betty" Kruger, a resident of Albuquerque since 1948, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, July 17, 2002. She is survived by her husband, N. John Kruger; daughter, Bonnie Kelly and husband Hank, all of Albuquerque; grandson, Warren Kelly of Taos, NM; granddaughters, Rachel Robinson and husband Paul and Michal Kelly, all of Albuquerque and Amy Kruger of New Orleans, LA; great-grandsons, Bryce and Thomas Robinson of Albuquerque; and brother, William Rundell of Pennsylvania. Betty was born in Chicago, IL. Among her numerous accomplishments, she was the State Chairman of the Republican Party in New Mexico and twice chaired the Albuquerque Civic Symphony Ball. Betty was a Deacon at the First Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque. She was an active member of the Old Glass Club, Progress Women's Club, Sigma Alpha Iota Music Fraternity, Cosmopolitan Women's Club, P.E.O. Chapter AN, Daughters of the American Revolution Charles Dibrell Chapter, the Christian Women's Club and Daughter's of the Nile. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Graveside Service will be held Friday, July 26, 2002 10:30 a.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE, with the Rev. Dr. Kenneth R. Clark, Jr. officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Albuquerque Christian Children's Home, 5700 Winter Haven Road NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120. Arrangements by French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
