James F. Spriggs, Jr., a resident of Albuquerque since 1996, passed away on July 28, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Haroldie Spriggs of Albuquerque; son, Kevin Spriggs of Silver Spring, MD; aunt, Elizabeth Giles of Knoxville, MD and cousin, Elaine Bonner of Washington, DC. Service will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, 515 Ash Street SE, with Pastor Dennis Dunn, II officiating. Interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery in Frederick, MD. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be sent to the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church,"Seeds of Faith" Building Fund, P.O. Box 26327, Albuquerque, NM 87125. Friends may visit Wednesday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. French Mortuary, Westside Chapel, 9300 Gold Course Rd. NW.
