Geneva Janet (Jan) Stevenson, 61, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, went peacefully to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 13, 2002, at Bellamah House in Albuquerque, following a long and courageous fight with ovarian cancer.¯ Jan will be remembered for her giggle and wonderful smile, and especially for her great faith and trust in her Lord.¯ She is survived by her uncle, Robert and aunt, Nadine Brooks of Ft. Worth, Texas; and her many friends, including those through NASA, DOE, Cancer Support Group, Lovelace Care System, her church, and neighborhood.¯ All are grateful to the staff at Bellamah House and Lovelace Hospice who helped make her last days the best possible.¯ A Memorial Service will be held at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy, NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Monday, August 5, 2002, at 6:30 p.m.¯ A Graveside Service will be held in Fort Smith, Arkansas, at Forest Park Cemetery, 5001 Midland Boulevard, on Saturday, September 7, 2002, at 3:00 p.m. ¯If desired, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church.¯ ¯Arrangements by Aspen Funeral Alternatives, 1935 Juan Tabo (323-9000).
