Voris V. Hope, age 79, beloved wife and mother, an Albuquerque resident and artist since 1950, died August 2, 2002 following a long illness. She was born in Ewing, Illinois to Clyde and Grace Skinner in 1922. She is survived by her husband of 59 years- Don Hope of Albuquerque; son, William C. Hope and wife, Margarita of Lakewood, WA; daughter, Susan Hope Curlee and husband, Barry of Austin, TX; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Voris attended Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Graveside services will be Monday August 5, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Those family and friends who would like to follow in the funeral procession to Santa Fe may meet at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE at 12:15 p.m. on Monday. Strong-Thorne Mortuary is handling her arrangements.
