Ed Conway, 67, a resident of Albuquerque since 1979, died Tuesday, August 6, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Ruth E. Conway; daughter, Vicki Mertzig and husband, Rick; sons, Edward Conway, Jr., all of Albuquerque and Scott Conway and wife, Kimberly of Ohio; brothers, Arthur Conway and wife, Donna ofAmarillo, TX and John Conway and wife, Dolly of Merrimack, NH; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers, Daniel and Richard; and sister, Linda. Ed worked for many years at General Electric. He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1973. Ed was a member of American Legion Post # 99. A Wake service will be held Thursday, 7:00 p.m., at Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Graveside services will be held Friday, 2:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery, with Pastor Curtis Goldman officiating. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association of NM, 525 San Pedro NE, #101, 87108 or to the American Cancer Society, 5800 Lomas NE, 87110.
