Obituary for Honeycutt

Olympia Andrea Honeycutt, age 68, of Pena Blance, New Mexico passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2002, following a long illness. She was employed with Standard Oil for 23 years in San Francisco, CA, in the Public Affairs Office. Andrea was well known for her love of flowers and children. While living in San Francisco, CA she was nominated for the Jefferson Award for her work with underprivileged children. She was creative and had a natural flair for color and floral design. During the past ten years, she worked in several downtown clothing stores, most recently, the White House Black Market. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cresenciano and Margarita Romero; and her brother Chris Romero Jr. She is survived by her great aunt; sister Claire Lucero, O.S.F.; her great uncle Rudy Lucero and wife Helen; her great uncle Clyce Lucero and wife Amanda; her great aunt Escolastica Lucero; her brother Anthony Romero; her sister Nora Ortega and husband Joe; her sister Viola Rael and husband Joe; and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Barbara's Church in Sile, New Mexico, on Tuesday, August 13, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Barbara's Cemetery in Sile.
