Mary E. Scott (Scottie),age 76 and a resident of Albuquerque for more than 30 years, died August 7, 2002 at Lovelace Hospital of complications from heart and lung disease. She was born in Waycross, GA, served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force, graduated from Ohio State University and went on to attain a Master's Degree at Arizona State. After teaching school in Ohio and Arizona, she changed careers and became a Real Estate Appraiser for HUD-FHA and later as a partner in Albuquerque Appraisal Associates. She is survived by her sister Marjory Blount of Forest Park, GA; brother Paul Scott of Poway, CA; many nieces and nephews; and her best friend Margaret Buchholzer. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
