Porfey is survived by his parents, Marion Gabriel Jr. and Amanda Michelle (Gallegos) Valencia; his paternal grandparents, Mariano G. Sr. and Rachel Valencia; paternal great-grandmother, Virginia Valencia; maternal grandparents, Patrick Joseph and Margaret Gallegos; paternal uncle and Godfather, John A. Valencia and fiance, Noel Griego; maternal auntie and Godmother, Patricia Gallegos and fiance, Lawrence Villanueva; his maternal aunties, Laura Gallegos and her fiancee, Robert Gutierrez, Melanie Gallegos and Megan Gallegos. A Mass was celebrated Tuesday, August 13, 2002, 10:00 a.m. at the Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Estancia with Father Anthony Martinez officiating. Burial followed at the Duran Cemetery.
