Berna R. Sanchez, 67, a resident of Los Angeles, CA and a former resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, August 16, 2002. She is survived by her husband, Carlos A. Sanchez of Los Angeles, CA; son, Charles V. Sanchez of Los Angeles, CA; daughter, Mona Lisa Bartolini of Rio Rancho; brothers and sisters; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, August 22, 2002, at 9:30 a.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5303 Phoenix Ave. NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
