Obituary for Sena

Arthur R. Sena, beloved father and husband, peacefully passed away at home August 22, 2002 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico to Lucas and Flora Sena. He graduated from Santa Fe High School. He attended the University of New Mexico and New Mexico A & M. Re received a business administration degree from St. Michael's College. He served with distinction with the United States Marine Corps. He then entered a long and successful Career with the Federal Government. He retired into his own private tax consultation practice. Art loved the outdoors and played as hard as he worked. He was an avid skier, fisherman, golfer, and cyclist. He also loved tennis, racquetball, bowling and softball and was well respected and loved. He was preceded in death by his wife of 26 years, Marlene Sena and is survived by their 3 children, Gary Sena and wife, Jillynne residing in Idaho, Scott Sena who now resides in Alabama and Jennifer Berryman and her husband, David residing in Sandia Park; grandchildren include Zachary and Emily Sena and Ryan and Dylan Berryman. He remarried and is survived by his wife, Virginia"Ginny" Melville-Sena; and her two sons, Sean and Brent Melville who reside in Albuquerque. Memorial services will be held Monday August 26, 2002 in the Fitgerald Chapel, 3113 Carlisle Blvd N.E. at 5:30 p.m. Interment will take place later in Santa Fe National Cemetery.
