Obituary for Albertson

J.W."Dub" Albertson, 78, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950 died Friday, August 23, 2002. Dub is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ella Albertson of Albuquerque; daughter, Cheryl Gushard and husband, Ron Hoyt of Albuquerque; sons Jeff Albertson and wife, Shawn of Albuquerque, John Albertson of Santa Fe; sister, Billie Jean Steele and husband, Kelly Kearney of Odessa, TX; grandchildren, Mike Gushard, Heather Cano, Shanda Albertson, Kerri Albertson, Maggie Albertson, Mariah Albertson, Koty Deats; and five great-grandchildren. He served his country in the U.S. Marines in WWII. He was a member of VFW Post #401. Dub was owner operator of Dub's Watch Repair from 1962-1984. He was known as the Watch Maker's Watchmaker. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2002, 10:00 a.m. at French Morturary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel. Interment of cremains will take place at Santa Fe National Cementary.
