Mrs. Josephine M. Garcia died Tuesday, August 27, 2002 in Albuquerque at the age of 79. Mrs. Garcia is survived by her sons, Freddie Garcia and wife, Coeli of Bosque Farms, NM, and Bennie John Garcia and wife, Mary Ellen of Los Lunas, NM; daughters, Ruby Macias and husband, Phillip of Tome, NM, Emily Phillips and husband, Ross of Albuquerque, and Lucinda Baca of Albuquerque; brothers, Pete Vigil and wife, Lupe of Albuquerque, Fred Vigil of Idaho, and Willie Vigil and wife, Anita of California; sister, Amalia Vigil of Albuquerque; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mrs. Garcia will be held on Friday at St. Edwin Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Phillip Macias, Raymond Lovato, John Baca, Pedro Baca, Dominic Kittredge and Albert Benavidez. Visitation for Mrs. Garcia will be held on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the Salazar & Sons mortuary chapel.
