Brian Flora, known also as"Professor Flora" the magician, died at his home on Saturday, August 24, 2002. Brian was well-known to children and families in Albuquerque, performing at restaurants, outdoor events, and parties. Memorial Services will be held today at 4:00 p.m. at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 114 Carlisle Blvd. SE. Please come if you can. In lieu of flowers, friends might consider making memorial donations to the Parents Fund of Swarthmore College, 500 College Ave. Swarthmore, PA 19081. Brian's son, Ian, attends Swarthmore College. Memorial donations in Brian's name may also be made to the Flora Family Scholarship, UNM Foundation, #2 Woodward Center, 700 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87131.
