Delfina Jennie Hanks, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on August 24, 2002. Delfina was born on June 5, 1933 in Albuquerque, NM. She was a very loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her entire life centered upon caring for her precious children and grandchildren. Delfina was welcomed and loved everywhere she went and she will be fondly remembered. She is survived by her children, Jerry Rivera of Wilmington, CA, Anthony Rivera of Fresno, CA, Emily and husband, Edward Aguayo, Toni McGrown; brother, David Trujillo, all of Albuquerque; 19 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends. A visitation for Delfina will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2002 at 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Sunrise Funeral Options. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. also in the Chapel with Pastor Andre as officiant. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5800 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
