Eustavio Sanchez age 89 from Cuba, NM passed away Friday August 30, 2002 at the Veteran's Hospital in Albuquerque, NM after a lengthy illness. Survivors are one sister, Onofre Valdez and husband, Rosalio of Los Lunas, NM, numerous nephews and nieces. Rosary service will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Salazar & Sons Mortuary 400 3rd St. SW. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Holy Rosary Church, 5525 Fortuna NW. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Eddie Sanchez (Orlando, Marcos), Benny Valdez Sr., Arthur Lucero, Rosalio Valdez Jr., Robert Sanchez and Tony Valdez.
