Dorothy Plunkett, a resident of Albuquerque since 1954, died Monday, September 2, 2002. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Col. Thomas J. Plunkett; son, Thomas W. Plunkett and wife, Teri Plunkett; and grandson, T.J. Plunkett, all of Albuquerque. Mrs. Plunkett graduated from Rochester University in New York and was a member of the Dental Hygienist Association. She was also an Alumni of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. Mass will be celebrated Friday, September 6, 2002, at 9:00 a.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School NE. Interment will follow at 12:00 noon, at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Thursday, September 5, 2002, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the UNM Foundation for the Dorothy S.
