Obituary for Gonzales

Manuel Gonzales, 81, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on September 1, 2002 peacefully at home in the arms of his loving family. Mr. Gonzales is survived by his loving children, Loretta Brogan and husband, Russell, Susie Snyder, Carol Rivera, Ronald Montoya and Joseph Thomas Montoya; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Eloisa 2001. Mr. Gonzales was a member of the Catholic Church, a Veteran of the U.S. Army-Air Corp. serving in World War I I, a life member of the D.A.V. Chapter 3. A visitation will be Friday evening from 6:30pm until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.. A final visitation will be Saturday morning in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 7:00 a.m. until 7:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at 8:00 a.m. at St. Edwin's Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona SW by Father Bill Sanchez. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Pete Peralta, David Torres, Robert Gonzales, Dominic Aragon, Donald Montoya and Matt Dauber. Gabaldon Mortuary in charge of the arrangements.
