Roy Samuel Barela, 45, a resident of Los Lunas, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2002. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 23 years, Carla Barela; three sons, Clifford, Jonathan and Roy all of the family home. A viewing will take place at Romero Funeral Home on Thursday, September 5, 2002 at 5:30 p.m. with a Rosary following at 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas on Friday, September 6, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the San Clemente Catholic Cemetery.
