Lucy J. McKinney, a resident of Albuquerque since 1957 died on Monday, September 2, 2002 after a brief illness. She is survived by her husband, Oliver Sr., and nine children, Oscar, Charles Sr., John, Elizabeth, Samuel Sr. McKinney of Albuquerque, NM, Oliver McKinney Jr. and Lucy Parlor of Atlanta, GA, Lavinia Young of Wichita Falls, TX and Jerome McKinney of Oklahoma City, OK; two brothers, Warrick and Willis Hill and one sister, S. Margaret Hill all of Silver Spring, MD. Lucy McKinney was a charter member of Bethesda Seventh-Day Adventist Church since 1959. Services will be held at Heights Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 4920 Wyoming NE on Monday, September 9, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Viewing on Sunday, September 8, 2002 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo Blvd NE
