Obituary for Karchmer

Rose Karchmer, 87, passed away on August 31, 2002. She was born in Denver, CO. where she went to school. She married Zeke Bronstein in 1936. They lived in Pueblo, CO, until Zeke passed away in 1941, when she moved back to Denver. In 1950, she married Julius Karchmer and moved to Albuquerque, NM. He passed away in 1966. She spent her last years in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is survived by daughter, Pennie Karchmer Cohn and husband, Cliff of Prairie Village, KS; son, Alan Karchmer of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Stacee Cohn of Kansas City, MO, Jonathan Cohn and wife, Carrie of Overland Park, KS. A Graveside Service was held at Fairview Cemetery in Albuquerque, NM on September 5, 2002. Donations in Rose's name may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Rio Grande Division 2021 Girard SE Suite 201, Albuquerque, NM 87106. Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave was in charge of arrangements.
