Obituary for Dominguez

Rose E. Dominguez, age 90, a lifelong resident of Old Town Albuquerque, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2002. She was a lifelong member of San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church, and a member of their choir; a member of Sacred Heart League, and a member of the Madre Cristianas, also known as the Blue Army, which was a special prayer group of women who prayed to the Virgin Mary. Rose was member of the Moya family, one of the founding families of Old Town Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her husband, Santos Dominguez; parents, Justo and Eloisa Hunick; and sister, Blanche Hunick. Rose is survived by her son, Roy F. Dominguez and wife, Dora; daughters, Jeannie Martinez and husband, Roland, and Jolene Wong and husband, Henry all of Albuquerque; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Queen of Heaven Parish, 5311 Phoenix NE., San Mateo and Menaul NE., on Monday, September 9, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt.
