Nellie Louise Chilcote a resident of Albuquerque since 1941 passed away Saturday, August 31, 2002. She was born November 30, 1927 the daughter of John and Amanda Hughes of Greeley County, NE. Preceding her in death were her parents; her daughter, Laura L. Chilcote; and one sister, Agnes"Bill" Zimmerman of Socorro, NM. She is survived by one son, Leonard Ray Chilcote of Wisconsin; two sisters, Rhoda B. Tobler of Harvard, NE, and Ruth Powell of Clint, TX; three brothers, Edward D. Hughes of Albuquerque, B.C. (Pete) Hughes of San Acacia, NM and Howard D. Hughes of Capitan, NM; and also by many nieces, nephews and many friends. Graveside Services are scheduled fro Friday, September 13, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts in the name of Nellie Chilcote be made to the American Heart Assn., PO Box 90790, Abq, NM 87199-0790, or to a charity of choice. Sunrise Cremation Society is serving the family of Mrs. Chilcote. (891-8200).
