Bernardino"Bernie" Lucero was born in Albuquerque November 30, 1922 and passed away September 10, 2002. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Bernie was loved by everyone who knew him and he enjoyed riding his bicycle to visit people in and around the neighborhood. He is survived by his children, Julia Dimas, Vickie Tapia, and Adolfo Lucero; sister, Carlotta Ramirez; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four nieces; four nephews; numerous other family and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 1860 Griegos Rd. NW. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2002. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2002 with burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW. Albuq. 505-343-8008.
