Frank J. Sanchez, 72, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, September 11, 2002. He is survived by his children, Rick Sanchez and wife, Patricia, Dolores Dowdy and husband, Rick, Angela Sanchez, Margaret Gonzales, and Jeff Sanchez; grandchildren, Nicole Sanchez, Chris Dowdy, and Jacob Gonzales. Frank was born March 25, 1930 in Antonchico, NM to Fabian and Eloisa Sanchez. He spent most of his career at Kirtland AFB as a civil service electrician after serving four years in the USAF during the Korean War. Frank lived in Vaughn, NM, where he began a family of his own, eventually, moving to Albuquerque, where he spent the rest of his life. Cremation has taken place and a rosary will be recited Tuesday, September 17, 2002, 7:00 p.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, September 18, 2002, 9:00 a.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE, with Father Tom Zotter, Celebrant. Ennichement of cremains will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Arrangements by French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
