Lavonne L. Hext, 60, and a life long resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday morning at UNM Hospital. She is survived by her husband, MD"Butch" Hext; son, Clay Hext both of Albuquerque; son, Rodney Hext of Dallas, Texas; brother, Roy Dennis and wife, Connie of Moriarty. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2002 at the Family Worship Center, 5200 Iliff NW., for family and close friends. Interment and an open memorial will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on a later date.
