Andrew Dominic Romero, age 22, and an Albuquerque resident died September 24, 2002. Survivors include his parents, Joyce and Raul Florez of Albuquerque; brothers, Gabriel and Joseph Trujillo of Albuquerque; grandmother, Vera Montoya of Los Lunas; aunt, Annette Medina and husband, Pat of Los Lunas; uncle, Silviano Garcia of Los Lunas; cousins, Mathew and Crystal Medina, Freddie, Nicholas and Jeremy Garcia, Genell Montoya. Andrew was a 2002 graduate of Belen High School and was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Thomas Barrela"Tata" in April 2002. Viewing and visitation will be held, Friday, September 27, 2002 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave. SE with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 28, 2002 in the Holy Ghost Catholic Church 833 Arizona SE with Fr. Thomas J. Mayefske, Celebrant. Serving as Pallbearers will be Patrick Medina, Silviano Garcia, Steven Glass, Santiago Camarena, Leroy Chavez and Freddie Garcia. Andrew your name was"of God", and like God every time you smile you touched every ones life. And now that all your pain and suffering is gone you are now walking hand in hand with God and Tata. So until we meet again your memory will always be cherished. We love you and will miss you. Strong-Thorne Mortuary is entrusted to the care of Andrew.
