Lawrence Victor Whitmore, 60, a resident of Old Laguna, New Mexico passed away on September 26, 2002.¯Mr. Whitmore is survived by his sisters, Pat Smith and Husband Wesley, Bernadette Whitmore, Frances Whitmore, Sarah Whitmore and Margo Whitmore; one brother, Martin Whitmore and wife Geneva; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, Godchildren, cousins and friends.¯ Mr. Whitmore was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the Unites States Marine Corps. serving in the Vietnam Era. A visitation for Mr. Whitmore will be Monday after 5:00pm at Lawrence's home in Old Laguna with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm.¯A final visitation will be Tuesday morning from 8:30am until 9:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Old Laguna with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00am by Father Larry.¯Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00pm with full Military Honors by the D.A.V. Chapter #3.¯Pallbearers will be Louis Whitmore, Randy Whitmore, Michael Whitmore, Ronald Sarracino Jr., David Lorenzo, and Loren Smith.¯Honorary Pallbearers, Germaine Romero, Del Begay, Harold Lockwood, Dale Fernando, Michael Fernando, and Alvino Wacondo.
