Steve Patrick, 49, a resident of San Ysidro, N.M., for 29 years, formerly of Ponderosa, N.M., passed away Friday, September 28, 2002, at the Heart Hospital in Albuquerque. He was born January 24, 1953, in Albuquerque. He is the husband of Barbara Christilaw and the son of Cipriano Trujillo and Eva Lucero Trujillo. He worked as a pipe fitter for JCI for 23 years. He was a member of the Pipe Fitters Local Union 412 and of the Catholic church. He was preceded in death by his father, Cipriano Trujillo, in 2000. He is survived by his wife Barbara; mother, Eva; children, Adam Paul and wife Araceli of Los Alamos, Adrian Patrick and wife Karen of Fontana, Calif., and Amy Trujillo of San Ysidro; sisters, Rita Hoogerhuis of Bernalillo, Sally Pacheco and husband Fred of Albuquerque, Evelyn Martinez and husband Richard of Santa Cruz, N.M., and Judy Gachupin and husband Arnold of Albuquerque; granddaugther, Mia Trujillo, mother-in-law, Priscilla Christilaw; special godson, Skylar Hoogerhuis; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation is Sunday, September 29, 6 to 8 p.m., at Vista Verde Mortuary Chapel, 4310 Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Lane in Rio Rancho. Rosary will be Sunday, September 29, at 7 p.m. at Vista Verde Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service will be Monday, September 30, 11 a.m., at Santo Toribio Catholic Church in Ponderosa. Interment will follow at the Catholic cemetery in Ponderosa. Pallbearers will be: Jason Hoogerhuis; Scott Hoogerhuis; Jerrod Pacheco; James Martinez; Kevin Martinez; and Cameron Gachupin.
