Obituary for Trampe

Lilian Trampe, 84, a resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, September 30, 2002. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Taylor and husband, Bill, and Jean Herbert and husband, Howie, Jr., all of Albuquerque; son, Steven Trampe and wife, Mary of Temple, TX; grandchildren, Sean Taylor and wife, Stefanie, Michelle Taylor Baca, Nikki Burnett and husband, Andrew, Howie Herbert III and wife, Christy, Molly Herbert Martinez and husband, Bennie, Corey Trampe and wife, Natasha, Lisa Trampe and Scott Trampe; six great-grandchildren; and sisters, Florida Norden of St. Charles, MO and Frances Sullivan of Alamogordo, NM. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Trampe on June 8, 2002. Mrs. Trampe was born in St. Charles, MO and graduated from St. Charles High School. She moved to Los Alamos in 1955 and has lived in Albuquerque since 1957. Mrs. Trampe enjoyed working with the Cub Scouts. She was an avid bowler and golfer and loved traveling. Services will be held Friday, October 4, 2002, at 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Chaplain David Williams officiating. Private interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sean Taylor, Stefanie Taylor, Michelle Taylor Baca, Nikki Burnett, Andrew Burnett, Howie Herbert III, Christy Herbert, Molly Herbert Martinez, Bennie Martinez, and Corey Trampe. Honorary pallbearers will be Natasha Trampe, Lisa Trampe and Scott Trampe. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Thursday, October 3, 2002, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The family would like to especially thank Presbyterian Hospice for the special care they gave to Lilian.
