Adalia T. Sanchez, 81, went home to be with the Lord on October 8, 2002. She was born on August 7, 1921 in Mora, NM. She is preceded in death by her husband Feliberto L. Sanchez and her sister Desi Parham. Mrs. Sanchez is survived by her son Orlando E. Sanchez and Eileen Cunningham of Casco, Maine, daughter, Evelyn S. Leyba and husband, Larry of Albuq., granddaughter Pamela White and husband, William of W. Islip, NY, grandsons; Brian Leyba of Kingwood, TX, Phillip Leyba and wife Lorrie of Magnolia, TX and Gary Sanchez and wife, Tara of Auburn, NH, sisters; Lydia Romero and husband, Horace of Albuq., Mary Lou Dunworth and husband, Frank and Louella Mora and husband, Arturo, brothers; Gilbert Chavez and wife Virginia of Yucaipa, CA and Jacob Aragon and wife Lorraine and great-grandchildren; Gabriela and Sierra Sanchez, Ian Leyba and Kristin Leyba and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Adalia will be deeply missed by her loving family. Visitations will be held on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Eighth Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary with an evening service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Final viewing will be on Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Second Presbyterian Church, 812 Edith Blvd. N.E. Funeral Services will follow at 10:00 a.m. also at the church. Rev. Jaime O. Quinones will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. S.W. 243-5222.
