Obituary for Edwards

Ann Dudley Edwards of Albuquerque passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2002. She was born in Danville, Virginia October 4,1925. She is survived by her husband, W. Sterling Edwards; their son, Bruce and his wife, Paula; and their children, Laura and Robert; their son, Peter and his wife, Ana and their children Will and Sandy; their daughter, Kitty and her husband, Carl Lineberger of Boulder, Colorado and their son, Wyman of Albuquerque and his stepchildren, Amadeo and Nina Gonzales. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Ann Dudley Edwards was very active in community affairs and an effective advocate of peaceful conflict resolution. She was involved in worldwide development through World Neighbors, Witness for Peace, and OXFAM International. She was a part of delegations to several Central American countries, working for peace and monitoring elections. She was very active in the Quaker Meeting of Albuquerque. She attained her Master's Degree at UNM and practiced counseling for women for ten years. She had many friends locally, nationally and around the world.
