Betty Turner, 79, a resident of Corrales, passed away October 15, 2002. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Joe D. Turner; daughter, JoAnne Crandall and husband, Bob of Plano, TX; grandchildren, Mike Crandall and wife, Shirlee of San Antonio, TX and Scott Crandall and wife, Nancy of Plano, TX; great-grandson, Brett Crandall and brother, John Stoops of Bakersfield, CA. Betty graduated from Albuquerque High School and was an avid bridge player with the Duke City Bridge Club. She was also well known for her dancing in plays and commercials while living in Seattle, Washington. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Monday, October 21, 2002, 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust NE (off of I-25 and Martin Luther King Blvd).
