Chester Frank Gore, age 87, a resident of Tijeras, died Sunday, October 20, 2002. He is survived by his son, Jim Gore and wife, Terry of Tijeras; daughter, Carol Kalom and husband, Ron of Taos; grandchildren, Noelle Kalom, Naomi Kalom, Shelly Houston, Eric Gore, Ronda Race; four great-grandchildren; and his beloved Dorothy Garcia. Chester was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille D. Gore; son, Robert Gore; and brother, Ervin Gore. Chester was a volunteer with a local senor citizens group as well as a drummer for the Palo Duro Band. He will be missed by all those who knew him. A viewing will be held at Aspen Funeral Alternatives Chapel Friday, October 25, 2002 from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 p.m. Funeral Services will follow also at Aspen Funeral Alternatives Chapel on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Private Entombment will take place at a later time.
