Stewart Richard Swindells was born in Harrisburg, PA. on April 30, 1938. Richard lived most of his life in Norfolk and Virginia Beach, VA. He served in the US Marine Corps, and was a 30 year member of the Plumbers and Pipe fitters Union, Local 110, in Norfolk, VA. Richard died on October 22, 2002, in Albuquerque, NM, from complications of Huntington's disease. Richard is survived by two nieces and their families, Scott and Lynn Alexander, Michael Kimberly, and Nathan of Albuquerque, NM, and Ed and Karen Kukuk, Amy, and Jeff of Valrico, FL. Services are pending at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Huntington's Disease Society of America, Inc., 158 West 29th St. New York, NY 10001-5300.
