Obituary for Bauer

Anneliese Bauer, 68, a resident of Albuquerque since 1992, died on Friday, October 25, 2002. She is survived by her husband, Rolf; children, Garry Bauer of Traben-Trarbach, Germany, Stephen Bauer of Albuquerque, Janet Toman of Rio Rancho, NM and Vera Hutchins of Fredericksburg, VA; grandchildren, Heather, Kevin, Karen, Simone, Steven, Contessa and Lindsey; brothers, Peter Ziegler of Bamberg, Germany and George Ziegler of Eltmann, Germany; 2 sisters, Erna Meisel and Marie Ziegler, both of Bamberg, Germany; and many dear friends. Anneliese immigrated to the United States from Germany in 1958. She met Rolf in New York City in 1959 and they were married December 12, 1959. They came to Albuquerque in 1992. Anneliese was a strong believer in the Lord and was faithful to God and her family. She was a wonderful and loving wife and mother who devoted her life to her family. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 30, 2002 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, 1800 Martha NE, with Father Tom Zotter, Celebrant. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
