Robert Lee Green, age 67, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2002. He was a member of the Marine Corps League, Detachment 381 in Albuquerque. In 1975, he retired following a 22 year career with the US Marine Corps. His duty assignments included Cherry Point, Camp Lejeune, Parris Island, San Diego, Quantico, Okinawa and Albany, GA. A resident of Albuquerque since 1981, Mr. Green and his wife spent many hours in volunteer service at the VA Hospital. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Anglican Rite, where a Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 4, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow. The church is located at Paseo del Norte and Eubank, NE. In addition to his beloved wife, Florence, Mr. Green is survived by two sons, Robert and wife, Kerry and Paul and wife, Catherine; his brother, Louis and wife, Barbara; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson. In lieu of flowers, donations to the church, 8100 Hamilton, NE, Albuquerque, 87112 or to the Volunteer Service Office at the VA Hospital, 1501 San Pedro, SE, Albuquerque 87108 would be appreciated. Sunrise Society of New Mexico is serving the family of Mr. Green. (891-8200).
