Julia C. Cohen, of Port Crane, New York, formerly of Albuquerque passed away Thursday, October 31, 2002 at Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich, NY. She is survived by her husband, Sanford Cohen, Oxford, NY; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth Cohen and Shane Van Pelt, Port Crane, daughter, Melanie Thomas, Binghamton, NY; and step-son, John Cohen, of Cleveland, Ohio; sister, Marie Stella Smith, Union, New Jersey; sister-in-law, Esther Greene, Cleveland, Ohio; three grandchildren, Tillon Thomas, Carly Thomas and Ava Van Pelt. Mrs. Cohen was a WWII Army Veteran. Memorial Services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of the Southern Tier 1406 Monroe Street Endicott, NY 13760.
