David J. Calico, age 64, and an Albuquerque resident of 35 years died November 2, 2002. Survivors include his wife, Bernice of Albuquerque; daughter, Melissa Garcia of Albuquerque; sons, Todd Calico of Albuquerque, Chris Calico of ND, Paul Torres of Albuquerque; brother, Steve Calico of TX; and five grandchildren. Viewing and visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2002 at Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave. SE. Services will be held at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, November 9, 2002 in Palm Chapel located in Strong-Thorne Mortuary with Mr. Larry Pierson officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Park 700 Yale Blvd SE. Strong-Thorne Mortuary is handling his arrangements.
